Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her performance compared with others at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. However, she left before her band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop group. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. It was released in the year 1992. It was a massive hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites soul jazz blues tracks from early childhood. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let you go... art installation that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut self-released album. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, through an album titled Diva. It featured many famous songs like Walking on Broken Glass and the song Why. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It features cover versions of such songs as No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She has six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album.
